The Vice President of the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) Nii Gonti Adjor has assured boxing fans of a good show and appealed to sponsors for more engagements for the Black Bombers.
George Lamptey, a former President of the GBF, now an International Technical Official (ITO) said the test against Detroit Golden Gloves should put the Bombers in high spirits before they go for the African Boxing Championship in Kinshasa, Congo.
But many followers of the GBF are wondering whether they have funds for their activities as they are unable to pay journalists who cover their events.
The executive seem to be disorganised following the departure of the president to the USA for his private business.
He however met coach Joseph Awinongya and they discussed plans for cultural and sporting exchanges programmes between Ghana and the USA.
