Mr. Ellis Quaye has been into boxing administration and management for over 30 years and believes Ghana is ripped to get new champions.

He named boxers like Theo Allotey. Daniel Gorsh, Joseph Commey, John Laryea and Emmanuel Quaye as some of the boxers who can be supported to bring laurels to the nation.

He commended and congratulated the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) for doing a great job in drawing the road map to the Congress and Elections on June 2, 2026.

“I love the medical and safety protocols that have been placed and I think it is going to serve us well” he expressed.

He urged the media to promote and project Ghana Boxing like they are doing for football because boxing has produced many world champions.

He regrets the passing of the late Bahubali aka Ernest Akushey who was a cheerleader for the IBC Team and hopes that boxers’ lives would always be paramount.
