KENYA’S LIZ ANDIEGO TO FACE MALI’S MARINE FATOUMATA?

Not really. It can’t happen. Both are in different weight categories.

Liz Andiego, two-time Africa Championships silver medallist and Mandela Cup middleweight champion, and Mali’s 2019 African Games featherweight silver medallist, Marine Fatoumata Camara, are in Kampala attending the 2025 African Women Martial Arts Leaders Workshop.

With her stone-hard punches Andiego aka Mkono Chuma (pictured left) will be allover Fatou if they were to fight.

The two top African boxers are enjoying themselves in Kampala eating a lot of matoke as they look forward to next year’s Africa Men’s and Women’s Africa Boxing Championships.

Fatou was an avid wrestling fan before she found herself in boxing while Andiego was a lethal kick boxer and also played taekwondo prior to her engagement in boxing in 2008.
