African Boxing Union (ABU) has released its full ranking for the month of August, 2025. The ranking which was released on Monday, August 4, covers from Strawweight (105lb) to the Heavyweight division (224lb+).
The ranking (male) features fourteen Ghanaians withing the 18 divisions list.
In the heavyweight division, Ebenezer Tetteh (23-3-0, 20kos) is ranked 8th with Nigeria’s Efe Ajagba (20-1-1, 14kos) leading the division.
Jonathan Tetteh (10-0, 10kos) is ranked 7th in the Light-heavyweight division.
Ghana’s super-middleweight trio Delali Miledzi (29-1-1, 22kos), Sena Agbeko (29-4, 21kos) and Abubakar Mubarak (13-1, 10kos) are ranked 2nd, 3rd and 9th respectively.
Derrick Quaye (8-0-1, 6kos) is ranked 9th in the welterweight division.
Emmanuel Tagoe (33-2, 16kos) tops the super-lightweight division whiles Faisal Abubakari (19-0, 15kos) comes 2nd.
Alfred Lamptey (15-1, 10kos) is ranked 3rd in the lightweight division.

Wasiru Mohammed (super-featherweight) – 11th
John Laryea (featherweight) – 5th
Samuel Martei Laryea (super bantamweight) – 12th
John Zile (super bantamweight) – 14th
Theophilus Kpakpo Allotey (bantamweight) : 5th
