Derrick ‘Show Love’ Quaye to face Vukomanovic in Serbia on June 19

The undefeated super lightweight Derrick Quaye (9-0-1, 7 KOs) is scheduled to face his most formidable opponent yet in his first fight of 2026 on June 19 against Tomislav Vukomanovic (13-0, 6 KOs) of Bosnia.

The bout, set to take place in Belgrade, Serbia, is for the WBC International Silver title, a championship previously held by notable fighters such as Viktor Postol, Sergey Lipinets, and current WBC super lightweight champion Dalton Smith.

With seven knockouts in ten fights, Quaye’s knockout power has made him a fan favorite whenever he enters the ring. Quaye, despite his smaller build, consistently outperforms taller and bigger opponents across various weight divisions, ranging from super featherweight to super welterweight.

His opponent, Vukomanovic, is currently ranked 36th in the WBC world super lightweight

rankings and has previously held the WBC International Silver title and a WBC Youth title.

Since his 2021 debut, Quaye remains undefeated, with a draw against Daniel Quaye and a

no-contest ruling in his fight against Henry Malm due to crowd interference.

A victory will boost Derrick Quaye’s WBC ranking significantly, potentially moving him into the

top 40 by next month.

Also scheduled to fight is undefeated bantamweight Leticia Ankrah (6-0, 4 KOs). Her opponent

will be fellow undefeated fighter Sara Circkovic (2-0), who is also a 2024 Paris Olympian. Both

fighters will look to keep their unbeaten records intact.
