SP Sports Promotions and PKO dish out thrilling boxing show at Koforidua Total 2 to celebrate Independence Day

Charles Tetteh, better known as “Hit Man,” flew the flag of Ghana very high when he stopped Nigerian Lukman Akinolugbade by knockout at the Total 2 Station in Koforidua, where the 1957 fight night took place on March 7, to celebrate the 69th Independence Day anniversary of Ghana.

Tetteh who held the National Featherweight title has extended his unbeaten professional record to 13-0-1. He is hungry for bigger fights. He called out former WBO Global Champion Wasiru Mohammed for a showdown.

He is managed by SP Sport Management and Promotions who sold out a good show in the Eastern Region. 

George Faho Mensah also from the SP Sports stable won via a round 3 TKO against Kofi Manu.

Reports said the event was successful with the presence of popular boxers and participation of Bukom Banku aka Braimah Kamoko who was there to campaign for his son Abubakar Kamoko a Cruiserweight contender. 

Abu Kamoko maintained his unblemished professional record with a dominating knockout win over Sylvanus Tsagli. 

The rising Ghanaian boxer now moves to 7-0-0, continuing his impressive start in the professional ranks and reinforcing his reputation as one of the promising young fighters to watch. 

Tension went high when Abu Kamoko who is managed by Legacy Rise Sports stormed the ring to challenge Prince Kamaldeen Mohammed after he deals with Freezy Macbones.

John Zile also delivered a big knockdown against Kamarudeen Boyefio in their exciting fight.

Prince Oko Nartey, aka “Prince of God,” also another win to his journey.  He was victorious against Godwin Cudjoe , improving his professional record to 13-4-0 with a solid performance in the ring. Momentum continues to build as he pushes forward in his career.

Bernard Abbey, aka “Kenya,” bounced back to winning ways, improving his record to 7-1-0 with a strong performance against Emmanuel Noi Mensah. 

Samuel Martei Laryea aka Eagle Eye defeated Mustapha Appiah by knockout to improve his record to 9-1-1, building strong momentum in his professional campaign. 

Godfred Brown dropped Isaac Quartey with a massive knockdown on the night of knocks, after Ebenezer Kolebe and Jacob Ankrah lit the event with an amazing boxing artistry.

Micheal Ansah aka One Bullet dropped Ablorh Sowah with a late knockdown, while Micheal Decardi Nelson and Isaac Aryeetey also traded heavy shots in a thrilling battle.

Former amateur female boxer, Sarah Apew announced herself in style as a budding pro queen. 

The debutant did not waste time in stopping Marina Sackitey with a knockout to kick off her professional career in spectacular fashion. It was a statement debut and a name to watch in the division.

Mr. Samuel Darkwa of SP Sports Management and Promotions commended all the boxers and coaches who contributed to a great event.

He promised to do it again if the opportunity comes up.
