Sena Agbeko returns to action on Feb 21 against Bektemir Melikuziev

Ghanaian super middleweight Sena Agbeko (29-4, 23 KOs), is set to return to the ring on

February 21st against Bektemir Melikuziev (16-1, 10 KOs) after more than a year off.

The bout scheduled for 10 rounds will take place on the DAZN PPV event headlined by Mario

Barrios vs. Ryan Garcia at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

In his last fight, Agbeko suffered a loss to Vadim Tukov in a non-official IBA bout.

Before that, his last pro bout took place in November 2024 where he secured a first-round

knockout victory over Pierre Williams (9-5, 5 KOs).

At 34, he’ll be aiming to defeat a younger prospect in Melikuziev.

Having suffered only one loss in 2021, Melikuziev, 29, is on an undefeated streak and intends to

add Agbeko to his win list.

In the main event, Ryan Garcia (24-2, 20 KOs) will hope to return to winning ways against

Mario Barrios (29-2-2, 18 KOs) for the WBC welterweight world title.

The co-main event will feature Richardson Hitchins (20-0, 8 KOs) defending his IBF super

lightweight title versus Oscar Duarte (30-2-1, 23 KOs). Additionally, the WBA super lightweight

championship will be on the line as Gary Antuanne Russell (18-1, 17 KOs) faces Andy Hiraoka
