News reaching Boxing Ghana indicates that a popular Ghanaian boxer Ernest Akushey famed as Bahubali has kicked the bucket after an emergency rush to the hospital this morning of 23rd September 2025.
The 32-year-old was born in Chorkor, a suburb of the capital Accra in Ghana, and is noted for his exceptional trash-talking abilities in boxing.
Until his demise, the chokor native fought in both the super middleweight and the light heavyweight divisions and lost his last fight to Jacob Dickson less than two weeks ago on the 12th of September 2025.
He had a record of 8 fights, 2 defeats with 6 victories, with 5 of those wins coming by way of knockouts hence commanding a knockout percentage ratio of 75 percent.
Bahubali, was a typical orthodox brawler with an enviable 36 rounds of boxing.
