ONYANGO, WOLDE AND ALLEM INSTRUCTED TO DEFEND SUPREME TITLE

The World Alliance Boxing Association (WABA) has mandated that the Supreme Africa Cruiserweight champion Ignasius Onyango from Uganda, along with Betel Wolde and Abraham Allem from Ethiopia, must defend their titles.

As stated by the chairman of the championship committee, the three boxers, who secured their titles in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, are required to defend their titles by March 2026.

Furthermore, WABA is seeking to establish a preliminary schedule for this title defence to incorporate it into its Annual Program for 2026.

The three boxers include Abraham Allem (on the left), the Supreme Africa Welterweight champion; Ignatius Onyango (in the centre), the Supreme Cruiserweight champion; and Betel Wolde (on the right), the Supreme Africa Welterweight Female Champion.

WABA concludes its Annual Program every December, which includes various activities such as in-ring events, training for ring officials, clinical trials, sponsorship initiatives, and conventions.
