International matchmaker Mubarak Yusif Nanor aka Yusif Nanor aka “America’ has received tons of congratulations for organising the short but important visit of ace streamer Ishowspeed to the Bukom Square on Monday where he engaged John Quaye aka Magic Man in an exciting exhibition bout.
Magic Man said he really appreciated that he was chosen among many boxers and commended Nanor for his vision and wisdom as well as the Legacy Rise Sports Promotions team which includes dynamic and energetic youth in management.
Legacy Rise Sports added the boxing aspect of tourism and the whole Square attracted thousands of people.
Some of us have always said boxing is a tourism attraction in Ghana and should be guarded well.
Quaye thanked the incredible people of Bukom, Accra for their overwhelming support shown during @ishowspeed visit.
“Your cooperation, energy, and warm welcome made the event a success. I’m truly grateful to everyone who played a part. Thank you, Bukom — this will always be remembered” he stated.
John Quaye made the headlines in 2022 in the Imax Boxing League but lost to Charles Tetteh for the national title and car at stake.
Other prominent boxers at the event were juvenile Prince Larbie and Abubakar Kamoko aka Ambitious Tilapia.
Bukom Banku, a retired boxer, entertainer and musician also made Ishowspeed dance to his ‘Lighter’ song.
