Jacob Tetteh Laryea aka Chorkor Fire says he is ever ready to face and beat Musah Lawson aka Awoo Dade in a championship bout if the purse is good.

“I am ready any time if the cash is good” he expressed.

The former West African and WBO Africa Super Welterweight champion said he has record, class and pedigree and his opponent must know that boxing is big business.

According to Laryea, the matchmaker has approached him and he requested for $6 000 which the promoter said was too much and could afford only $1 500.

The Chorkor Fire who is itching to fight to please his fans later asked the promoter to give him $4,500 but he has not heard anything since.

He said his team would not take in any amount because they have invested and are hoping for bigger opportunities and chances.

Laryea was stripped off his WBO Africa title, and he lost a chance to win another title in Congo, however he is still looking for another opportunity to become a title holder again.

He said the town of Chorkor has many good boxers and he is the ‘Chorkor Fire” leading the young generation.

He trains at the Bronx Boxing Club at Jamestown under Coach Carl Lokko and managed by Swavy Blu Management and Promotions
