GHANA’S APRIL 4TH PROF AZUMAH NELSON CHAMPION EMERITUS CHAMPIONSHIP: A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP SKILLS

The Prof Azumah Nelson Champion Emeritus Championship, promoted by Mitch Gilbert Wooollams, is set to take place on April 4th in the Keta region of Ghana, presenting an excellent opportunity for skill development in boxing across Africa.

This tournament will feature a headline match between Michael Poppoe and Ezekiel Annan for the vacant WABA Supreme Prof Azumah Nelson Champion Emeritus World Super Featherweight Championship. Additionally, it will include two world-rated bouts: Savoy Gad versus Eliasu Sulley for the vacant WABA Supreme Global Super Middleweight Championship, and Abubak Mubarak against Justin Hounkpevi from Benin for the vacant WABA Supreme World Super Middleweight Championship.

Hosted at the luxurious Aborigine Beach Resort Club in the Keta region, the event is organized by Aborigine Boxing Promotion, which is owned and managed by Mitch Gilbert Wooollams. This championship aims to significantly enhance the boxing industry in Ghana.

Established and nurtured by WABA and Aborigine Boxing Promotion, the Prof Azumah Nelson Champion Emeritus Championship is dedicated to honoring Africa’s boxing legend, Prof Azumah Nelson, who has been a prominent figure in the sport, defeating the best in the world for many years.

The President of WABA, Hon Ky Col Onesmo Alfred McBride Ngowi, will travel to Ghana to officiate this MEGA championship, which is expected to open doors for many future events.
