BREAKING: Michael Ansah is without his coach as he faces Terry Flanagan Tomorrow

Boxing Ghana can exclusively confirm that Ghana’s sensational  Lightweight King, Michael Ansah aka One Bullet is in the United Kingdom to fight British Terry Flanagan without his trainer Charles Quartey.

Ansah who has been talking high of his coach branding him the best there is in the country in an interview with Ghana’s local based Television platform UTV, is now having to deal with another classical case of no coach syndrome which has bediviled Ghana boxing.

“I have the best coach in Ghana at the moment in Charles Quartey, I am going to follow the footsteps of my boss (Briamah Kamoko alias Bukom Banku) who went to conquer the UK with a win just recently.”  Ansah earlier reiterated of his trainer.

Boxing Ghana’s attempts to get the manager of Ansah has so far proven futile but it begs to ask, why a reborn Michael Ansah, who is currently the national lightweight champion should be made to go through such experience in an important bout as such, especially against a former WBO world champion when the stakes are so high.

Do these managers care about the career of their boxers than their shortemist focus on the financial gains.

A source close Team Ansah who prefers to remain unanimous expresssed his frustration to Boxing Ghana

“We the coaches are really suffering big time. The managers and the boxers are doing us a lot disservice, u leave your family and everything else to focus on a boxer for you to be at the suffering end at the end of the say”

Boxing Ghana will follow-up on this all important subject and get the other side of the matter but for now, we are wishing Michael Ansah all best to secure a resounding victory over Machester born former world lightweight champion Terry Flanagan this Friday 11, October 2019, Ulster Hall, Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.
