THE DA-DAY AS WABA PROJECTS SUPREMACY FOR ITS SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP
The World Alliance Boxing Association (WABA) has reached a significant point where it anticipates dominance for its championships, as its three prestigious titles are set to be contested at the Aborigine Beach Resort Club this evening, April 4th.
All arrangements for the momentous day have been finalized following the arrival of boxers and officials at the Aborigine Beach Resort Club in Keta town yesterday.
The President of WABA, Hon Ky Col Onesmo Alfred McBride Ngowi, along with the Chairperson of the GBA’s Interim Management Committee, Samir Captan, have arrived and have already conducted the weigh-in in accordance with WABA’s Championship rules and regulations.
The remarkable Michaels, Michael Poppoe and Michael Ansah, will headline the Inaugural WABA Supreme Prof Azumah Nelson Champion Emeritus Super Featherweight Championship, while Ghanaians Saviour Gad and Eliasu Sulley will vie for the vacant WABA Supreme Global Super Middleweight Championship.
Ghanaian Abubak Mubarak and Beninese Justin Hounkpevi will compete for the vacant WABA Supreme World Super Middleweight Championship.
Prof Azumah Nelson himself will be present, accompanied by other celebrities, to ensure the success of this initiative.
The President of WABA, Hon Ky Col Onesmo Alfred McBride Ngowi, will serve as the Chief Supervisor for the three WABA Supreme, while Samir Captan, the Chairperson of the GBA Interim Management Committee, will act as the tournament commissioner.
The Ring Officials will include Rogers Barnor, Erasmus Owoo, Shadrack Acquaye, and May, all of whom are internationally recognized referees and judges.
